Pre-School Life
Below you will find information about life at Betts Park. Including what to bring, a typical day, snacks and lunches and how we involve you in your child's learning and development.
Settling In
Most of our children join in September, and we run a series of settling in sessions to welcome our new arrivals.
A Typical Day
See what we get up to at Betts Park. Our day is broken up into Morning and Afternoon sessions.
What to Bring
A list of everything your child will need. Every child has a named peg in the nursery foyer for bags.
Snacks & Lunches
At Bettspark Preschool we believe the food environment we create for the children is important and will support them in developing healthy behaviours.
My Child's Progress
We use an online journal which includes written observations and photographs.
Key Workers
Your child’s relationship with their worker will be an important part of their time at preschool in helping your child settle in to preschool.
Being a Parent Helper
We know that parents/carers are the most important factor in a child’s development, as such we value parental involvement.
How We Learn
Provision for the development and learning of children from birth to 5 years is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage.
